My name is Alexa Ramos and I am the proud baker and owner of Alexa Rose Treats. Like most people, I started baking at a young age thanks to the influence of both my grandmothers. They taught me the valuable lesson that dessert should always taste as good as it looks, and I continue to use many of my Grandma Rosie's classic Italian recipes. In 2016, I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in business management knowing full well that I wanted more for myself than my 9-5 office job. I worked at a local bakery part time where I gained invaluable experience working with various allergen baking methods including gluten free, dairy free, and vegan techniques. In 2018, I followed my passion and Alexa Rose Treats was born! ART is not your typical bakery. I do not have a store front; rather all baking is done out of my historic home, usually very early in the morning or very late at night to account for my day job! Baking is done in small batches using only the finest quality ingredients with an emphasis on customization.
